🦝 Raccoon
Thief Pet · Super Rarity · Map Spawn
Raccoon’s price is high enough that it’s an endgame purchase. Build up steady crop income before hunting for one.
Raccoon appears rarely around the map with a countdown timer. Check frequently if you want first crack at it.
Once purchased it follows you, but a rival can outbid you mid-walk on a busy server. Use a private or low-population server to avoid losing it.
Common Eggs from Guild Rewards have a chance to produce a Raccoon without relying on a map spawn.
| Variant | Effect | Source | Availability |

| Big Raccoon | ~2× passive boost | Rare map mutation | ⚠ Unconfirmed values |
| Huge Raccoon | TBA | Very rare mutation | ⚠ Unconfirmed |

Raccoon’s auto-steal only works against gardens left unlocked and unwatched. It won’t bypass an active defender or a locked plot.
Raccoon helps you steal, but it does nothing to protect your own garden. Run Bee or Black Dragon alongside it if you’re playing aggressively on public servers.
If you’re defending against another player’s Raccoon, hitting it with a shovel during the theft stops the steal. Keep a shovel ready if you suspect raids.
At 15,000,000 Sheckles, Raccoon is one of the pricier early-rotation pets. Don’t delay cheaper growth pets like Deer just to save for it.
