🦫 Capybara
Buff Pet · Legendary Rarity · Wild Spawn & Egg
Capybara can appear as a wild pet wandering the map. At Legendary rarity, it spawns more often than Mythic or Super pets. Check your map regularly after joining a new server.
Legendary Eggs have a chance to hatch a Capybara. These eggs are obtainable through quests, the shop, and trades. Hatching a Big or Mega variant is rare but possible.
Capybara is a liquid trade item — many players have duplicates and will trade for other Legendary or Mythic pets. Use the Trade Calculator to find fair swaps.

Bamboo grows fast and gets heavy. With a Capybara active, Bamboo cycles complete even quicker. Stack Deer pets alongside it for maximum weight per plant. This setup generates Guild points faster than almost any other method.
The Capybara’s growth boost compounds over time. On crops with a short base grow time (Carrot, Potato), you get extra harvest cycles per session. Over a long farming session, this adds up to significantly more Sheckles than the raw boost percentage suggests.
The jump from Normal to Big Capybara doubles the growth boost. This is one of the highest-value upgrades in the game per Sheckle spent. Prioritize getting a Big or Mega variant over hunting other pets.
Capybara handles speed; Golden Dragonfly handles mutation rate. Running both means your crops grow faster and mutate more often. This is the optimal passive buff setup for solo farmers.
