10 confirmed mutations. Only 1 applies per crop. Shocked ×100 is the highest verified multiplier.
Shocked ×100 is Best
Highest confirmed multiplier. Outranks Bloodlit (×80) and Electric (×70). Exact trigger still being confirmed.
No Stacking Rule
GAG2 confirms only 1 mutation per plant. New mutation replaces old one. Always target the highest multiplier when your crop is ripe.
Weather Triggers Mutations
Most high-value mutations come from server-wide weather events. Time ripe harvests to coincide with Thunder (×70) or Blizzard (×40).
Sprinklers Help
Sprinklers raise mutation chances passively during growing cycles. Stack higher-tier sprinklers on your best plots for consistent gains.
Confirmed Robux costs. Gameplay effects are community-researched where the wiki says “TBA.”
Watering = Priority
Always water before harvesting. Decay cuts value 45–80%. Super Watering Can (340R) hits multiple crops — best early upgrade.
Sprinklers for Mutations
5 sprinkler tiers. Higher tiers cover more plots and increase mutation rates. Best passive mid-to-late game investment.
Freeze Ray (799R)
Most expensive gear. Believed to trigger Frozen mutation (×40) outside Blizzard events. Wait for community confirmation before buying.
Rainbow Carpet (599R)
Likely linked to Rainbow mutation (×25). Community is still confirming exact mechanic. Watch for updates before spending.
All players on the same server share the same weather. Weather speeds crop growth and triggers mutations.
Rain
Standard weather. Speeds crop growth. No special mutation. Best time to plant and water without event pressure.
Thunder
Triggers Electric mutation (×70). Have your best crops ripe and watered. Lightning must physically strike your crop.
Blizzard
Triggers Frozen mutation (×40). May also be triggered manually with the Freeze Ray gear — unconfirmed.
Rainbow
Triggers Rainbow mutation (×25). More common than Thunder and Blizzard. Still valuable at mid-tier ×25.
- ⏱️ Let crops grow to near-ripe, then wait for Thunder or Blizzard before harvesting
- 🌧️ During Rain: plant and water freely without worrying about mutation windows
- 📡 Other players rush to harvest during Thunder too — pre-water everything in advance
- ⚙️ Freeze Ray may trigger Frozen (×40) outside Blizzard — watch for community confirmation
Guilds let players group together for cooperative farming. Creating one costs Robux. Joining is likely free.
🏰 Guild Costs
What Are Guilds?
Player groups for cooperative farming. Exact in-game benefits still listed as “TBA” on the official wiki.
Create vs Join
Don’t create (99R) unless you’re organizing your own group. Joining an existing guild first is the smarter move.
Slot Cost Scaling
Slots start at 37R and scale to 499R as your guild grows. Expansion packs are better value than individual slots at scale.
Guild Events
Weekly event tasks, placement rewards and point rules exist for guilds. Check the wiki for current event details and rewards.
Currency packs, Robux features, inventory upgrades, shop restock costs and the stealing system.
Gift variants available — you can send Sheckles to other players.
- 🌙 Players and Raccoon pets can steal ripe crops from other gardens at night
- 🐝 Bee pet swarms intruders to defend your crops
- 🪤 Venus Fly Trap and Dragon’s Breath attack thieves automatically
- 🧱 Use walls to physically block plot access
- 📦 Bear Trap Crate, Spring Crate, Roleplay Crate all available in-game
Core mechanics confirmed from the official wiki and community research. Game launched June 12, 2026.
Core Loop
Buy seeds → plant → water → wait → harvest → sell at Sell Stuff Stand. Reinvest into rarer seeds. Repeat.
Weather is Everything
Time ripe crops for Thunder (×70) or Blizzard (×40). Pre-water and be ready to sell fast when events hit.
Gears Matter
Sprinklers passively boost mutation rates. Super Watering Can saves time. Freeze Ray is endgame if confirmed.
Defend at Night
Use walls to block plot access. Bee pet for active defense. Venus Fly Trap or Dragon’s Breath for passive protection.
Guilds
Join first before creating (99R). Weekly events reward active members — participate to earn placement rewards.
Shop Restocks
Wait for the free auto-restock. Only spend 39R on instant restock during active event windows. Don’t waste Robux.
How Plant Values Work in Grow a Garden 2
Last verified: June 15, 2026
Every crop in GAG2 has a base Sheckle value that changes based on three things: weight when you harvest, whether the crop is fresh or decayed, and which mutation it carries. Weight matters more than most players expect. A Bamboo at 3.86 kg sells for around 750 Sheckles fresh. The same Bamboo at 5.36 kg brings around 968 — a 29% difference just from letting it grow longer.
Decay is where people lose money without realising it. A decayed crop sells for 45 to 80 percent less than a fresh one. Water your plants before picking. It takes three seconds and it is the highest-value habit you can build in this game.
Verified Price Data (Community Tested)
How Mutations Change Everything
A fresh Venus Fly Trap without mutations tested at roughly 3,840 Sheckles. The same plant with an Electric mutation (70x) reached around 159,000 Sheckles in community testing. That is not a typo. Mutations are the biggest value lever in GAG2. The math is simple — base value multiplied by the mutation number. A 30,000 Sheckle Dragon Fruit with Electric (70x) becomes 2.1 million Sheckles.
GAG2 locks you to one mutation per crop. New mutations replace old ones. Always target the highest multiplier that is active when your crop is ripe — not the first one that hits it during growth.

Mutations in GAG2 — What They Are and What They’re Worth
A mutation is a value multiplier applied to your crop. It changes how the fruit looks and increases what it sells for. The key rule in GAG2: only one mutation per crop at a time. If your Bamboo gets hit by Rainbow during weather and then Electric hits next event, Electric replaces Rainbow. You don’t stack them. This is different from the first game.

What Mutations Actually Do to Your Sell Price
A fresh Venus Fly Trap without mutations tested at roughly 3,840 Sheckles. The same plant with an Electric mutation (70x) reached around 159,000 Sheckles in community testing. That’s not a typo. Mutations are the biggest lever in the whole game.
The math is simple: base fresh value × mutation number. A 1,000 Sheckle crop with Shocked (100x) becomes 100,000 Sheckles. A 30,000 Sheckle Dragon Fruit with Electric (70x) is 2.1 million Sheckles. This is why timing your harvests around weather events matters so much.
Weather Events — When to Harvest and When to Wait
GAG2 runs server-wide weather. Every player on your server sees the same weather at the same time. When Thunder hits, everyone has a chance at Electric mutations simultaneously.
How to Actually Use Weather Events
Don’t harvest your best crops right before a weather event. Let them grow close to ripe, then hold. When Thunder or Blizzard starts, your crops are already heavy and positioned for a mutation. Sell immediately after the event — decay cuts 45 to 80 percent of value regardless of mutation.
Gears — What to Buy First
There are 15 gears in GAG2. Most are not worth buying early. Here’s the actual priority order based on return value.
Guilds — What They Cost and Whether You Need One
Guilds are player groups for cooperative farming. Creating a guild costs 99 Robux. Joining an existing one is likely free, though that’s still being confirmed.
If you want to be in a guild, join someone else’s first. Don’t create one unless you’re actively organizing a group of friends who want to farm together. The benefits are still being confirmed — the official wiki lists them as “to be added.”
Early Game Strategy — How to Get Your First 50,000 Sheckles
This is the part most guides skip because it isn’t exciting. But the first hour of GAG2 determines whether you’re farming Rare seeds or still planting Carrots three sessions in.
Bargain Mode — What It Is and When to Use It
The game includes a bargain mechanic where you pay roughly 55 percent of a crop’s value to roll for a return of 30 percent more to 6x that value. It’s a gamble.
When it works, it’s huge — 6x on a mutated Mushroom is life-changing Sheckles. When it doesn’t, you lost 55 percent of your crop’s value.
